Chinese Five Spice Rice

Ingredients :

Cooked rice2 cups
Chinese five spice powder1 teaspoon
Oil2 tablespoons
Garlic3
Spring onion greens2
Button mushrooms1/3 cup
Red chilli flakes1 teaspoon
Saltto taste

Chinese Five Spice Rice


Directions :

1.       Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic and spring onion bulbs and sauté till golden brown. Add button mushrooms and sauté till they are tender.
2.       Add five spice powder, red chilli flakes, salt and sauté for a minute.

3.       Add the rice and dark soy sauce and toss to mix.
4.       Add the spring onion greens and mix and sauté for a minute.
5.        Serve hot.
