Someday ago I went a fish festival. There I saw
Fish Chowder. It was
very delicious. After that I prepare this Fish Chowder in my home and
serve it to my family. They also enjoy this dish. So I decide to share
with you this super testy dish. So we will learn today how to prepare
Fish Chowder.
Ingredients:
Old Bay Seasoning TM, or to taste | 1/8 Teaspoon |
Stalk celery, chopped | 1 |
Diced potatoes | 4 Cups |
Ground black pepper | To taste |
Butter | 2 Tablespoons |
All-purpose flour | ½ Cup |
Salt | To taste |
Chopped onion | 2 Cups |
Clam juice | 1 Cup |
Evaporated milk | 2 (12 fluid ounce) Cans |
Fresh mushrooms, sliced | 4 |
Cod, diced into 1/2 inch cubes | 2 Pounds |
Chicken stock | 4 Cups |
Directions:
- Take a large stockpot.
- Place 2 table spoons butter on it.
- Give over medium heat.
- Butter will be melt.
- Saute onions, celery and mushrooms in butter until tender.
- Add chicken stock and potatoes.
- Now simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add fish, and simmer another 10 minutes.
- Season to taste with Old Bay seasoning, pepper and salt.
- Mix together clam juice and flour until smooth and stir into soup.
- Remove from heat and stir in evaporated milk.
Fish
Chowder is ready. Serve it to your guest. You need only 30 minutes to
prepare and 30 minutes for cooking. So you need totally 1 hour or 60
minutes for cooking. Now we will know the food value of Fish Chowder.
