Blackened Fish

People who love to eat fish, I think they all love to eat Blackened Fish too, because it’s so much delicious and it has good food value. On the other hand who love to prepare recipe they also love to prepare Blackened Fish because it’s so easy to cook. To prepare Blackened Fish you need only 30 minutes. 20 minutes need for preparation and 10 minutes only for cooking.

Ingredients:

White pepper1 Teaspoon
Cayenne pepper1 Teaspoon
Salt1 Teaspoon
Paprika1 Tablespoon
Black pepper1 Teaspoon
Unsalted butter, melted¾ Cup
Unsalted butter, melted¼ Cup
Dry mustard2 Teaspoons
Dried thyme1 Teaspoon
Fillets trout6 (4 ounce)
Ground cumin1 Teaspoon

Blackened Fish


Directions:
  • Take a small bowl.
  • Place dry mustard, black pepper, salt, white pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, thyme and cumin in that bowl.
  • And then mix all together.
  • Heat a heavy cast iron pan on high heat until extremely hot or about 10 minutes.
  • Pour 3/4 cup melted butter into a shallow dish.
  • Dip each fillet into butter, turning once to coat both sides.
  • Sprinkle both sides of fillets with spice mixture, and gently pat mixture onto fish.
  • Place fillets into hot pan without crowding.
  • Carefully pour about 1 teaspoon melted butter over each fillet.
  • Cook until fish has a charred appearance, about 2 minutes.
  • Turn fillets, spoon 1 teaspoon melted butter over each and cook until charred.
  • Repeat with remaining fish.
You can add some rice with Blackened Fish. It will be more delicious if you add rice.
