Today we will learn how to prepare Gefilte Fish. We need totally 2 hours and 35 munities to prepare this delicious dish. My mother teaches me how to prepare this recipe. Ingredients:

Salmon fillets1 ½ Pounds
Matzo meal¾ Cup
White sugar¼ Cup
Red snapper fillets1 ½ Pounds
White sugar1 ½ Tablespoons
Black cod fillets1 Pound
Salt4 Teaspoons
Ground black pepper½ Teaspoon
Ling cod fillets1 Pound
Ice water¾ Cup
Eggs5

Directions:
  • Mix the fish, 4 carrots and 2 1/2 onions together.
  • Bring a wooden bowl.

  • Place fish mixture in that bowl.
  • Add eggs on it.
  • Also add 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, white pepper and slat.
  • Now continue to chop until it well blended.
  • Now take a medium bowl and place ice water in it.

  • Stir that mixture in ice water.
  • Add matzo meal then chop again.
  • You have to check mixture if its thick enough to bind together to make an oval gefilte fish ball if not then we have to add more matzo meal.

  • In this time Take large two pot and place water in it.
  • Into each pot slice one raw onion and one sliced carrot.
  • You can add fish skins if you like it, otherwise leave.
  • Sprinkle in salt, paprika, 2 tablespoons sugar and black pepper.
  • This time we need a boil that have medium heat.
  • Place those ingredients and boil it for 10 minutes.
  • With wet hands shape the fish balls.
  • Drop fish balls in to boiling stock carefully.
  • Now cover the boil slightly and cook over medium heat.
  • It may take 2 hours to complete this step.
  • After 2 hours let fish sit in the pot for 10 minutes.
  • Now remove pieces carefully to containers.
  • Strain remaining stock over fish balls.
  • Add some chill and serve.

Gefilte Fish is ready. You  can keep this dish about 6 days in refrerajetor.
