Sprouted vaal pulao

Ingredients :


Sprouted field beans                  
1 Cup
Rice                                           
1 Cup soaked
Ghee                                     
2 Tablespoons
Cumin seeds                           
1 Teaspoon
Asafetida                                   
1/4 Teaspoon
Curry leaves                       
Few
Goda masala                        
1 Tablespoon
Red chilli powder              
1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder            
1/4 Teaspoon
Coriander powder              
1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder                  
1/2 Teaspoon
Salt                                
Taste
Jaggery                             
1 Tablespoon
Fresh coriander                  
2 Tablespoons

Directions :

1.        Heat ghee in a skillet.
2.        Add cumin seeds, asafetida and curry leaves and sauté till the seeds change color.
3.        Add vaal and mix. Add goda masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and mix.

4.        Drain and add rice and mix. Add salt and mix.
5.        Add 2½ cups boiling water and mix. Add jaggery and coriander leaves and mix well.
Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
