Ingredients :
Whole milk | a quart |
Cooked white long-grain | 1 cup |
Granulated sugar | handful |
Salt | a pinch |
Directions :
1. Put the milk, rice, sugar, and salt in the saucepan and stir to combine. Bring the mixture just to a boil over medium-high heat.
2. Reduce
the heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the
rice is cooked through, the milk is absorbed, and the mixture has a
pudding like consistency, about 20 minutes.
3. Add whichever optional ingredients you like, stir to combine, and serve.
