Ingredients :
Potatoes

Corn flakes, crushed

Oil

For deep frying

Onion

Green chilli

Ginger

Salt

As per taste

Flour

½ cup

Corn flour
|
1 tablespoon
|
Directions :
1. Peel and cut the potatoes lengthways into even strips.
2. Grind the onion, green chilli, ginger and salt to a fine paste.
3. Mix the ground paste with the flour and cornflour.
5. Heat four cups of water in a pan. Add the salt and parboil the sliced potatoes. Drain and set aside.
6. Heat plenty of oil in a kadai. Dip potatoes in the batter, roll in crushed cornflakes and deep fry till golden.
7. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with a sauce or chutney.
