Shoyu Chicken

Shoyu Chicken is really a popular Hawaiian dish. You can serve this Shoyu Chicken with white or brown rice. The word shoyu comes from Japanese soy sauce. You can serve this dish within 1 hours and 35 minutes. You need 35 minutes for cooking only. I am showing how you can prepare this delicious dish. Bellow I am giving the list of Ingredients.


Ingredients:

Grated fresh ginger root1 Tablespoon
Skinless chicken thighs5 Pounds
Water1 Cup
Crushed red pepper flakes1 Teaspoon
Onion, chopped1
Ground black pepper1 Tablespoon
Soy sauce1 Cup
Ground paprika1 Teaspoon
Dried oregano1 Tablespoon
Brown sugar1 Cup
Ground cayenne pepper1 Teaspoon
Cloves garlic, minced4


Shoyu Chicken

Directions:
  • Bring large glass or ceramic bowl.
  • Place soysauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, onion, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika and red pepper flakes.
  • Mix those ingredients well.
  • Add the chicken thighs and toss to evenly coat.
  • Take some plastic wrap and cover the bowl.
  • Now you have to marinate the chicken in a refrigerator for 1 ot 2 hours.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Now remove chicken thighs from the marinade.
  • Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Grill the chicken thighs on the preheated grill for 15 to 20 minutes.
Now Serve Shoyu Chicken with some rice. I think you will enjoy this dish. Thanks to all.
