Boneless chicken breasts | 4 |
Salt | to taste |
Black pepper powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Sugar | 2 tablespoons |
Dark soy sauce | 2 tablespoons |
Honey | 2 tablespoons |
Oil | 2 tablespoons |
Butter | 3 tablespoons |
Carrots | 8-10 small |
Ginger, sliced | 1 inch piece |
Spring onions, finely chopped | 4 |
White wine | 3/4 cup |
Bean sprouts | 1 cup |
Directions :
- Put salt, black pepper, sugar, dark soy sauce and honey in to a bowl.
- Mix them well.
- Add chicken breasts to this mixture.
- Let them marinate for at least half hour.
- Now, in a non stick grilled pan, Heat 2 tablespoons oil.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a non stick pan.
- Add carrots and salt to butter and sauté till the carrots got glazed.
- Place chicken breasts to the grill pan and grill them.
- Transfer the glazed carrots into the bowl.
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter, ginger and spring onions to the same pan
- Sauté them for a while.
- Add half cup of white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn the chicken pieces after one side is done and cook the other side.
- Switch off the heat.
- Add sprouts to the spring onions and mix well.
- Arrange carrots on one side of a serving dish.
- Remove ginger slices from the sprout mixture and keep the sprout mixture next to the carrots.
- Then keep the chicken pieces on the other side.
- Add wine to these juices remaining in the grill.
